PFA Lined Plug Valve

MVI PFA lined Plug Valve has a PFA lined body and plug, there is never a need to replace seats and the valve plug can be re-seated inline. Mainly was used for aggressive medium in chemical plants.

High Quality PFA Liner Of The Body

 

MVI Lined Plug Valves use high precision investment casting method for all major pressure holding components. The feature an unpigmented virgin PFA/FEP lining applied by Transfer Molding and locked into castings by machined dovetail-shaped grooves, and cast dovetail-shaped recesses in body castings and cast holes.

 

Our lining plug valves has a carbon steel body with a PFA fluoropolymer liner to all wetted parts. The plug is also encapsulated in PFA providing maximum corrosion resistance. The seat area is far greater than that of comparable ball valve assuring bubble tight shut off. The seal is assured both up and down stream independent of the line pressure.  There is no need to replace seats, the valve can be re-seated whilst inline by a quick and easy stem adjustment. 

 

The PFA lined Plug Valve mainly was used for aggressive medium in chemical plants, such as sulfuric acid plant, Hypochlorous acid, Hydrochloric acid, Sodium hydroxide etc.
If some chemicals not so aggressive, the FEP grade fluoroplastic material also is available for economic choice.

Plug valves are recognised as being the best type of valve for positive shut off of process. It has excellent environment sealing too, due to its inherent plug design. The valve is supplied with a PTFE sleeve as standard and can be adjusted inline to reseat if required. The valve can be supplied in a wide selection on metals from cast steel to specialist corrosion resisting alloys.

Non-Lubricated Sleeved and Lined Plug Valves incorporate the best PTFE fluorocarbon seat design. With little required maintenance and trouble-free operation, a high integrity bubble-tight seal is provided both in-line and to atmosphere.
