PTFE Lined Fittings

MVI offers a wide variety of PTFE / PFA lined Elbows,Tees,Reducers,Spacers,Blind Flanges and other special structure fittings. All PTFE lined fittings are molding lined over the flange faces. We also can accept the customized fittings for PFA molding liner which are very resilient to permeation and offer flat faced flange faces.
Our standard fittings are all manufactured to ASME B16.5 class 150 dimensions. We can also offer lined fittings to DIN dimensions or ASME class 300.

This fitting has one welded fixed flange and one welded stub end with rotating flange for site alignment. As well as fixed / rotating fittings we also supply welded fixed / fixed and fittings with both rotating flanges

Inspection For PTFE Lining Fittings

PTFE/PFA/ETFE/PE Liner fittings

1.Lining Elbows including 90,60,45,30 Degree PTFE lined Elbows,Long Radius 45 Degree and 90 Degree Elbows.
2.Lining Tees including PTFE Liner Equal Tee,Reducing Tee,Instrument Tee,Lateral Tee,Short Stack Tee,Crosses.
3.Lining Reducers including PTFE lining concentric reducer,eccentric reducer,reducing flange.
4.Lining Spacers,For shorter pipe spools it is not really practical to supply spools with flanges as either the nuts / bolts do not fit or there is insufficient space for flanges or both. For these short lengths we supply spacers, these are a wafer style designed to be bolted between two mating flanges. The outer diameters of the spacers corresponds with I.B.C. dimensions to fit snugly within the joint. To maintain the appropriate working pressures whilst keeping costs down we use three different types depending on the length for each given nominal bore.

The PTFE, ETFE and PFA fluoropolymers we use have some unique properties, they are chemically inert having near universal corrosion resistance which we specifically use to convey the most corrosive and toxic processes in Chemical and Pharmaceutical plants around the world. PTFE has the best coefficient of friction of any solid – giving excellent non stick properties keeping pressure drops to a minimum and preventing blockages of viscous lines etc. it is also use in high purity applications and an alternative to exotic materials such as Hastelloy.

MVI fluropolymer lined piping fittings can be supplied with virgin unpigmented liners or static dissipating (Anti-static) liners to prevent static build up within fittings on site.We are able to supply our full range of fittings with a stainless steel body, ideal for clean rooms, pipe bridges, underground runs etc.
